New two-bedroom house with amenity space

Initially, the Council rejected the proposal for the infill of a 2-bedroom house on land belonging to the adjacent house, on the grounds that the amount of garden proposed to be retained for the existing property did not meet local policy.

With the use of high-quality CGIs and other information in the full planning application, DRK Planning was able to persuade the Council of the quality of the new house and that the existing neighbour would still enjoy a good quality garden.

David Kemp worked closely with the client and the architect to deliver a successful all-around outcome.
